LeMat Desade

Prop I designed and am working on the actual piece for a friends low-budget horror flick. This lovely little weapon is called the "LeMat DeSade" (and its copyright me, yea the paperwork FINALLY came through.) Simple idea to make a nasty looking pistol, take a rather unique firearm and attach an obscenely large LARGE blade beneath it.
What I have here is the template for the blade. Working on building the actual item right now out of 1/8th inch thick sheet aluminium and a second out of steel (same thickness.) Blade is designed to slash, stab, and using the quasi-hawks bill to tear. Not a nice thing. The notches in the back of the blade are to allow someone to grip the barrel for a proper pistol-whipping (I will likely be removing the lanyard ring.)

Another thing I must do is replace the cheap plastic grips with actual wooden ones. Just tacky looking as it is.
